Everything is also on a dashboard so it's easy to manage real-time information from one place. I also like that simple solutions can monitor very critical components such as water tank levels, farm gates, temperature and chemical levels. I like receiving alerts via email or SMS, and after a couple of months of using Halo, I was alerted to an issue at the farm, so it paid for itself quickly (within two months). Pricing is another factor; the subscription model means the annual amount is not overly expensive, and the savings outweigh that. For quality assurances and processes, Halo is good for intensive operations. Some farms may struggle in the future without a technology like this. Bigger corporate farms should be looking into this system, as well as younger generation farmers who like to be given the information on a tablet rather than having to go out and search for it.”
